Lissajous Curves
Parametric curves created by the equations:
x = sin(A×t + δ)
y = sin(B×t)
The ratio A:B determines the shape, and the phase δ causes the curve to morph.
Famous Ratios:
1:1 - Circle/ellipse (depending on phase)
1:2 - Figure eight / parabola
2:3 - Classic knot pattern
3:4 - Complex interlocking loops
Controls:
- A, B - Frequency ratio
- Phase - Rotation/morphing of the curve
- Animate - Auto-cycle through phases
Keyboard:
- Space - Toggle animation
- R - Random ratio
- Arrow Left/Right - Adjust phase
