Managing attention
On reclaiming focus from the noise
In hindsight, I really enjoyed managing my own attention in life. Notifications make noise a constant, if you let them. I miss wandering around in my own head, following my own interests, free of outside influence.
To walk this path is to experience my own life, my own way. I don't want to be told what to pay attention to, I want to actively manage my attention directly.
The return to baseline
Anything that is not top of mind should not get the opportunity to form a distraction. If I want to rediscover focus, I must return to baseline.
